An general-purpose distributed memory caching system with in-memory key-value store. It's used for caching small chunks of arbitrary data (strings, objects) from results of database calls, API calls, or page rendering.

Classic LAMP stack

Modern web application environment with Linux, Nginx, MySQL and PHP. It is similiar to the LAMP stack, where Apache is replaced with the lightweight yet powerful Nginx. PHP works in php-fpm mode.
