Jetware Launcher for DigitalOcean is a free online service to launch server applications and stacks in the DigitalOcean cloud. It automates and makes it easy to install and configure complex server software.

To use Jetware Launcher for DigitalOcean, the user connects their account on the Jetware website to the account of the DigitalOcean control panel.

To launch an application, the user goes through several simple web form steps while the complicated actions are then performed by the Launcher:

• The user chooses the application and clicks on the DigitalOcean launch button
• On the startup form, it selects the droplet parameters: region, hardware configuration, and operating system
• After that, Launcher creates, through the API, a droplet with the specified parameters
• Launcher installs and configures the selected application
• After installation, the application is run and Launcher informs the user that the application is ready to work

The user can run ready-to-use applications or stacks from Jetware’s catalog of appliances either by launching them “as is” or customized with different components or versions. The user can also run freshly built applications or stacks assembled from the modules in Jetware Constructors.
